<b>Army recovers stolen cattle</b><br><br>PADER-The UPDF has handed over 95 heads of cattle stolen by Karimojong warriors to their owners. The animals raided from Patongo and Kotomo areas were recovered by the UPDF 503 Brigade under the command of Maj. Haruna Mukorogo.

PADER-The UPDF has handed over 95 heads of cattle stolen by Karimojong warriors to their owners. The animals raided from Patongo and Kotomo areas were recovered by the UPDF 503 Brigade under the command of Maj. Haruna Mukorogo. In a statement last week, the 5th Division spokesman, Lt Deo Akiki, said three warriors were captured and three guns recovered. They will be tried by the 3rd Division court martial.


Residents to get new school

LIRA-The Government is to build a new primary school in Okwang sub-county to replace Baralegi Primary School, which is occupied by the Presidential Guard Brigade, the lands minister, Daniel Omara Atubo, said on Sunday. President Museveni camped in the school in 2004 to oversee the UPDF operations against the Lord’s Resistance Army rebels.
