The over 2,000 delegates from various countries were treated to various dishes which included Swahili, Indian and local. Some guests, who were tasting the Indian cuisine for the first time had to abandon it because of the hot pepper and rushed back for other varieties. The big shots included Tumusime Mutebile, the Bank of Uganda governor and Dr. Yusuf, an international rotarian.

The President of Rotary Club of Kampala, Robinah Namusisi urged people to join rotary to support projects for the underprivileged. Joined by other rotarians, Namusisi cut a cake to crown the celebration. And finally, it was time to dance, where guests displayed different strokes.
