UGANDA Rugby cranes will miss the services of MVP Edmund Tumusiime in the Safari 7s in Nairobi, Kenya this weekend.

UGANDA Rugby cranes will miss the services of MVP Edmund Tumusiime in the Safari 7s in Nairobi, Kenya this weekend.

The team departed for the Kenyan capital yesterday by air without Tumusiime who has a tight examinations schedule at Makerere University.

The uganda telecom Kobs star has had a hand in many national team victories. Joel Anguyo and Timothy Ddumba did not make the trip as well citing a busy academic schedule.

Uganda has been drawn in the same pool with Tunisia, Mpumalanga of South Africa and Kenya’s team B. Uganda won the plate event in the previous edition of the popular tournament.

Shortly before departure Uganda Rugby Union released a 12-man squad with Timothy Mudoola as captain.
