Hundreds of former Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA) child mothers, whose primary education was disrupted by the insurgency, have enrolled in various primary schools in the Acholi sub-region.

Hundreds of former Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA) child mothers, whose primary education was disrupted by the insurgency, have enrolled in various primary schools in the Acholi sub-region. Speaking at the launch of the “Go to school, back to school and stay in school” campaign by UNICEF at Lagot-Cugu Primary School in Mucwini sub-county on Thursday, Josephine Amido Idah, a member of the girl-child education movement, said 184 former LRA child mothers would go back to school.
