Clarke’s mistake is not the point!

SIR — I was surprised to read Dr Gloria Kiapi’s letter blaming Dr Ian Clarke of negligence for the loss of his laptop. I feel this is a careless artitutude which could be interpreted as condoning thuggery and theft.
SIR — I was surprised to read Dr Gloria Kiapi’s letter blaming Dr Ian Clarke of negligence for the loss of his laptop. I feel this is a careless artitutude which could be interpreted as condoning thuggery and theft.
Whether Clarke made a mistake to leave his property in the vehicle or not, it was wrong for one to break into his car. Such behaviour tarnishes the name of our country.
