A Swedish-based company, International Council of Swedish Industry, has partnered with three East Africa states of Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania to promote small and medium-sized agricultural based enterprises in a bid to reduce poverty. Augustus Mutooro, the trade promotion officer of the Uganda Export Production Board said.

Brussels Airlines recognised its best sales agents for 2006 at its annual Travel Agents and Passionate Connection 2006/7 Day, held on Friday at Papaya Gardens, at the Arapapa Office in Kololo. The country manager, Pierre Declerck, presented trophies of the ‘Atomium,’ the symbol of Brussels, to Carlson Wagonlit Swanair for best Business class tickets sales, Uniglobe Concord for the most passionate and Uganda Travel Bureau.Uniglobe Let’s Go Travel was awarded a trophy and a Nokia 3250 phone from Celtel Uganda.
