MOYO-A water shortage has hit Erepi Primary Teachers’ College, the principal, Sr. Agnes Lomongin, has said. She attributed the crisis to the breakage of the borehole. “The students are suffering. They have to walk to Moyo sub-county to get clean water. Our staff is equally in the same trouble because we have only one borehole which also serves the surrounding communities,” she told journalists on Thursday.

Pader boss pleads to govt

PADER-The LC5 chairman, Peter Odok W’Oceng, has appealed to the Government and donors to help them construct teachers’ houses to improve the education standards. He noted that the proximity would enable teachers interact with students easily. Odok made the appeal while meeting a team of the United Nations children’s fund officials. The head of UNICEF office for Kitgum and Pader districts, Ismail Olushola, revealed that they would build some teachers’ quarters.
