She wants to be a banker. Her favourite movie is Pretty Woman. She considers Kabaka Ronald Mutebi to be the most handsome man.

She wants to become the first woman president of the United States of America.

Mubiru wants to own a boutique. She loves watching movies, listening to music and her best song is I love you by Celine Dion.

Her favourite movie is My best friend’s wedding. She also loves hanging out.

Kalungi likes short skirts and pants because she believes she has nice legs. She also loves dancing because her parents allow her to go clubbing.

Although they were sceptical, her parents eventually allowed her to join the Miss Uganda contest.

She has learnt how to be a lady and to have respect for her country. She wishes her dad were here to see her.

Kansiime is a Fine Art student. She loves fashion and culture and wants to become an international designer.

She is artistic, friendly and beautiful.
The butterfly in her outfit stands for feminine beauty, while the bark cloth represents man through the ages.

From the Miss Uganda experience, she has learnt to be confident. She wants to be an international singer or lawyer.

Nansukusa is friendly and adventurous. She commands presence and respect.

She is ambitious, independent and a career woman and believes that women should stand on their own.

She loves reading informative literature and is proud to be black.

Towali is the Eastern regional winner. Her biggest celebrity is the current Miss Uganda Praise Akankwasa.

Her dream is to visit a village market in Nairobi. She admires South Africa because of the art industry and drama and wants to become an actress.

She is also privileged to be a role model for her four siblings.

Nabukwasi has made friends through the Miss Uganda pageant and also got exposure.

She enjoys making friends and would like to become an international development analyst because the human life index needs to improve. She loves peace and hates war.

She looks up to Nelson Mandela. She is a fighter and a loner and wants to become a diplomat because since she was born, there has been war, a situation she wants to change.

Acham is a simple, ambitious and hard- working girl. Born in Pallisa, she wants to become an actress, a TV show host or journalist.

She loves singing and dancing and admires Oprah Winfrey, an American talk show host.

The princess is not bothered about criticism. She loves partying and wants to be a fashion designer.

She is innovative and hardworking. Her favourite place is church, where she is a member of the choir.

She loves singing and dancing. Nambuya says Ugandans are a caring and loving lot. She also believes in natural beauty.

She won the Central regional finals. She is interesting and recently learnt how to swim. She also learnt how to watch her diet –– no more chips.

She believes that the Miss Uganda experience is a stepping stone to becoming the next Nnabagereka.

Name: Mona Lisa Mudeenya
Height: 5’8”
Age: 23
Number: 15.
She first learnt of her famous namesake in her senior one but has never seen the painting.

She has won several competitions including Miss Jinja and Miss Talent in Mbale.

She likes to model, is short tempered and hates lies. She believes she is a true African woman, charming and caring.
