EDITOR—The Buyaga MP, Barnabas Tinkasimire, has been charged with embezzlement of sh9m.
Addressing the press after being charged, Tinkasimire claimed he was being persecuted by some members of the NRM for being vocal on matters pertaining to sharing of the recently discovered oil wealth in the region.
Tinkasimire should be courageous and wait for justice to take its course. He should stop being diversionary. If he is being persecuted like he claims, the courts will set him free!
For him to allege now that he is being persecuted is a sign of cowardice! Even if he is being persecuted for whatever reason, the question is whether he embezzled the money or not.
