So, during the first Annual Women’s Conference at Lion’s Centre, Sheraton Hotel, Kampala, Kamese told a fully packed Sheraton Lion’s Centre that they were seated comfortably in Rwenzori Ballroom. After gathering sh1.5m in cash and pledges; the pastor said: “Can you imagine, we pay sh2m per day we use this Rwenzori Ballroom? So, we make good use of your money. In fact it is not enough.†For the record: Guests were seated at the Lion’s Centre and not Rwenzori Ballroom.
The Sheraton Hotel administration said the Rwenzori Ballroom charges sh3m for a day while the Lion’s Centre charges sh1.5m but was willing to give a discount down to sh1m.
