KOLOLO SSS must tread past potential banana skins, Makerere College School (MACOS) to shrug off the “one-man team” tag that detractors have affixed onto them going into the first semifinal today.

The reigning champions have breezed through the Coca-Cola Schools Cricket Week without defeat due to the run-hungry, aggressive batting of opener Roger Mukasa.

Mukasa, a bowler’s nightmare, averaged a half-century in all his innings before being summoned to spearhead Uganda’s quest for the forthcoming U-19 World Cup trophy in South Africa.

Opponents Makerere shall also endure the absence of middle order talisman, Emmanuel Nakaana who has heeded a similar call for national duty.

In the other semifinal, Busoga College Mwiri, which partook in the rare thrill of a stumps shootout triumph over Ndejje at the Super Six stage, encounters an Aga Khan outfit weakened by the departure of U-19 skipper, Ronald Ssemanda.
