Maureen will survive again

It’s at the eviction point that you know the game has started. And this one has just started. of course you know by now that either Kenya’s Jeff, or Justice (Botswana) is leaving the Big Brother house tomorrow.

I will take a wild gamble and say Jeff will not make it, much as we should try to save him due to his being East African – who knows?

Kenya and Tanzania might help save our Maureen if she ever gets nominated. And since voting stops tomorrow at 8:30pm, we can still make it, if only for the record that Uganda did not do its neighbour in.
Type Vote Justice and send to 15626 (MTN), 5626 (UTL), 0903015626 (Celtel). You can also vote online by visiting www.mnetafrica.com. This way, you will be keeping Jeff in the house.

Should it turn out that Jeff leaves tomorrow, I see this silently bad-tempered Kenyan hurling insults at Meryl, who saved Zimbabwe’s Bertha and replaced her with Jeff.
This week has been hectic, as most tasks were physical, in line with the theme, Sweat for Life.

Perhaps Big Brother wanted to keep the housemates’ minds off the nomination fever. But nominations for possible eviction are part of the game and will be back on Monday at 9:00pm.

The housemates might next week learn to live with it amicably instead of this week’s suspicion and distrust.

Assuming Jeff leaves the house, it’s likely that Justice will still be nominated on Monday for possible eviction because his stubbornness hasn’t relented – not even when he knows he might go. But as much as Justice is a nag, viewers enjoy seeing this cry-baby, whiner, exude childishness.

This, of course, gives him some immunity from eviction and puts other possible evictees in trouble.

Will it be Bertha again? And if so, will the new house head save her? Bertha was injured in an escape-and-evasion task on Thursday, tearing a ligament. Now that she’s using crutches to move around, will this win the sympathy of the housemates and save her, even when her bossy attitude hasn’t changed? Or it will instead do her in, due to her being a liability when it comes to upcoming tasks?
Nigeria’s Ofunneka still harbours her dislike for Meryl and South Africa’s Lerato. I see her nominating them again on Monday.

Code has been avoiding locking eyes with Maureen since he betrayed and nominated her last Monday. He could try to nominate her again to do away with the guilt. But since Maureen has not vexed anyone so far, save for insecure Code, whose dislike of her is personal, she will still survive the nominations.

Tatiana, Richard, Maxwell, Kwaku and Code might still be on the safe side. But of Justice, Lerato, Meryl, Bertha and Ofunneka, two will be up for possible eviction.
