UGANDA’S cricketers leave tomorrow for Nairobi, Kenya to take part in a five-team international warm-up tournament for the inaugural Twenty20 World Cup due in South Africa.
Uganda landed an invite to join Test-playing nations Pakistan and India and Associates Kenya and Bangladesh in a final tune-up for Twenty20 World Cup.
The 11-man team to Nairobi features stalwarts Kenneth Kamyuka and Joel Olweny and will be joined by U-19 stars Roger Mukasa, Charles Waiswa, Arthur Kyobe and Ronald Ssemanda on Friday.
+ A collective failure in batting application saw Uganda lose to Botswana by 27 runs but still qualify for the semi-finals of the ICC U-19 World Cup qualifiers in Johannesburg.
