IF anything helped Isaac Mbaine Jr. to succeed in last year’s PLE, it was time management.

“I had a time table and made sure I followed it strictly. I knew when to read, bathe, relax and even play football,” he says.

The assertiveness, attentiveness and composure with which he addresses questions put to him, shows how cool-headed he is.
Mbaine, 13, was the third best pupil in Mpigi with aggregate five. He said he wants to join either St. Mary’s College Kisubi or King’s College, Budo.

Mbaine wants to be an engineer. He was full of praise for his teachers, whom he said helped him not to feel homesick while at Buyala Junior School, which is far from his home.
