Local referees land Burundi invitation

UGANDA soccer referees, under the Uganda Football Referees’ Association (UFRA) will have an exchange of experiences with their counterparts in Burundi following an invitation by the latter for a four-day visit.

UGANDA soccer referees, under the Uganda Football Referees’ Association (UFRA) will have an exchange of experiences with their counterparts in Burundi following an invitation by the latter for a four-day visit.

According to a release by UFRA, during the visit, CAF/FIFA referees’ instructor Bernard Nfumbusa will conduct a two-day seminar January 27-28. Nfumbusa is also in charge of referees in the CECAFA region.

“Discussions on the new trends of the game and referees’ experiences at different levels will be held,” said Davis Katabira, the UFRA publist.

He said the tourists will also have evening excursions to a number of places.

However, the travelling contingent is required to pay sh0.2m for travel, meals and accommodation to UFRA executive member Fred Mufta.
