SIR — I would like to encourage Mr. Ken Lukyamuzi to take heart. The five years he has been suspended from Parliament is not a long time.
SIR — I would like to encourage Mr. Ken Lukyamuzi to take heart. The five years he has been suspended from Parliament is not a long time.
The only problem is that we will miss his debating skills. One of my worries is having a parliament full of sycophants, who will pass unreasonable laws to please the Executive, like the 7th Parliament has been doing.
If a parliament lacks people like Lukyamuzi and Aggrey Awori and other vocal people like them and is filled with ‘yes men’ who hang on every word the president says, it is a disgrace. Lukyamuzi should use this break to
re-organise himself and wait for 2011.
