For sometime now, rumour has been rife that CBS’ silky voiced Sheila Nvannungi, was acting good host to Nigerian film producer Zack Orji, in fulfilment of the adage that Ugandans are very hospitable people.

For sometime now, rumour has been rife that CBS’ silky voiced Sheila Nvannungi, was acting good host to Nigerian film producer Zack Orji, in fulfilment of the adage that Ugandans are very hospitable people.
Think again. At the City Beat party last week in Silk Lounge, Nvannungi would have gone unnoticed had Orji not made a surprise entrance at about 9:30pm, sending butterflies through her belly.
When his entrance was announced, she first leapt in the air, abandoned her seat then took it upon herself to beckon staff to ensure organisers arranged a seat for her and Orji in a far corner of the club.
That done, Nvannungi spent the entire night warding off any female who sought audience with Orji, a hurdle that Beat FM’s Titi, Winnie Munyenga and artiste Trishlaa.
As if that wasn’t bad enough, Nvannungi threw a tantrum when it dawned on her that Orji couldn’t have his favourite brandy on the house. “He is a celebrity,” she belted out when Orji was told to pay for his brandy! Oh dear!
