GEN. Salim Saleh has scoffed at FDC officials for blaming past mistakes on the Government, saying most of them were part of the system.

“You cannot blame all the past mistakes on the Movement government. Most FDC officials like presidential candidate Kizza Besigye, Mugisha Muntu and Jack Sabiiti worked in the Movement for a long time. So they are part of the Movement’s mistakes,” Saleh said.
He was on Monday addressing NRM supporters at Kaliga, Mukono.

He blasted campaign agents of opposition parties, saying they had failed to tackle development issues and instead practised politics of mudslinging.

Saleh advised party leaders to woo opposition supporters to the NRM because it’s programmes were developmental.

Amid chanting from supporters, Saleh said his brother, President Yoweri Museveni, trusted him now and recently assigned him to revive income development projects at parish and village levels.
“I have been assigned to help you fight poverty,” he said.
