Masaka Referral hospital superintendent Dr. Kenya Mugisha has asked UPDF soldiers to go for voluntary HIV testing, saying those who test positive will access free antiretroviral therapy at the Uganda Cares Clinic. Mugisha was briefing UPDF soldiers from Kasijjagirwa Armoured Brigade during a cleaning exercise, which was part of the UPDF Terehe Sita celebrations.

Chief warns

THE Permanent secretary, ministry of Local Government, Vincent Ssekkono, has advised chief administrative officers and town clerks to stop paying employees dismissed in last year’s national restructuring exercise. In a recent letter, Ssekkono advised them to comply with the guidelines on restructuring issued by the Public Service Commission.
