Sheraton Kampala Hotel on Thursday night unveiled some of its newly-renovated guest rooms in an effort to maintain excellence in service. A cocktail was held at the hotel’s 12th floor at the unveiling.

Guests were taken through the upgraded rooms, presidential and junior suites.

The exquisite and spacious guest rooms are fully equipped with modern amenities including electronic safes, coffee, mini-bars. tea-making facilities, hairdryers, high-speed wireless and internet access with three telephone lines. After the renovations, Sheraton Kampala Hotel will boast of 240 guest rooms and suites with magnificent views of Kampala City on one side and Kololo and Nakasero Hills on the other.

The renovation is part of the second phase of their $20m project, which has seen the hotel upgrade several of its facilities to five star status.

According to Ian Burgess, the hotel’s executive assistant manager, the lights in the presidential suite can be adjusted to suit a particular mood.

This suite also has an eight-seater dining room, kitchen and bath tub with jacuzzi.
