FUFA’s plan to restore order to the running of the game has been boosted with an administration course sponsored by the world soccer body FIFA.
The five-day residential course, due in Jinja and starting on Monday, is meant for the entire FUFA executive.
FUFA chief executive officer Charles Masembe, will also attend the course under the FIFA member association programme.
“The course will focus on a range of aspects in football administration,” Masembe said.
FIFA development officer Ashford Mamelodi and a FIFA instructor Nicos Kartakoullis from Cyprus will run the course.
The course comes at an opportune time for the new FUFA members voted into office in December. Many of them are new in football management and are keen to return sanity to the game.
