FIFA deputy general secretary Jerome Champagne has tipped East African football associations on more support following their improved stability.
He said during a visit to Tanzania that after FIFA re-organised associations in the region their focus was now on development.
Champagne commended Uganda, Kenya and Burundi for making big steps towards normalcy after years of crises.
“Development starts with structures, that’s why we got involved very deeply. Now we can envision the second phase, more investment in the game,†Champagne said.
