TOP guns URA, Mulago and Chills & Meals dig into the battle for supremacy in the Kampala zone darts league this weekend.
The three clubs made a flying start as the event got underway last weekend.
But Kampala champions URA boosted by new signings in Ronald Kalete, Saul Mukasa and Juliet Katumbare sent a strong warning as the team to beat this season.
The tax collectors launched their campaign with resounding 12-0 and 10-2 wins over Kawempe and Posta respectively.
“We wanted to send a strong warning to others. I am convinced we have got a strong line-up,†John Opio boasted after the triumph.
After the second round slated for May, the top teams in the 15 team event qualify for the national league play-off. Jinja-based Nile are defending champions.
