27 people die
IGANGA – A total of 27 people were killed by malaria fever over the last two months, Iganga Hospital medical superintendent, Ahmed Lubega, has said. Lubega said the hospital is taking on big numbers of patients. He said some of the deaths could have been avoided if the patients had been taken to hospital promptly. He blamed the deaths to self-medication. He advised residents to sleep under treated mosquito nets.
