A PRIMARY school teacher was on Friday committed to the High Court over charges of defiling a seven-year-old pupil, reports Robert Kalemba.

Prosecution told Mukono grade One Magistrate Kagoda Ntende that Paddy Katongole of Mother Care primary school in Mukono town council, committed the offence on September 15, 2005.

It alleged that Katongole told the girl to take books in his bedroom and defiled her. She later reported to her mother.

Kagoda did not allow Katongole to take plea, saying the case would only be heard by the High Court.
