TIANSHI Health Products, a Chinese herbal food supplement firm, will on Saturday, April 8, reward two of its local distributors with Nissan cars.
Public Service minister Henry Kajura will officiate at the ceremony dubbed Tianshi Luxury Cars Awards at the Centenary Park in Kampala.
The awards are in fulfilment of the promises made to the distributors last November, a top official said in an interview on Friday.
The Uganda Police Band will lead a procession of over 5,000 expected guests from Tianshi offices at King Fahd Plaza on Kampala road to the venue on Saturday morning.
Robin Sun, the Tianshi managing director, said other major awards would be held in June.
“We are going to bring more products from France, Australia and Spain.
“We shall also bring some medical equipment from China,” Sun said.
Sun said more than 6,000 new distributors had been recruited during the past four months.
Tianshi does its business under the multi-level marketing (MLM) concept, also known as network marketing and referral marketing, a common concept in the developed world.
The scheme requires that you recruit people not only to buy and sell your product, but who will also recruit people who will not only buy and sell your product but also recruit people to infinitum.
Although distributors earn bonuses and commissions, they are good enough to make them top level earners better than their counterparts in formal employment.
