A-24-YEAR-old man accused of stealing a motorcycle worth sh1.4m has been charged before Mwanga II Road Court.
Court heard that Joseph Kafeero of Mubende district stole the motorcycle from the home of his friend Adu Kiggundu on February 26. He denied the charges before magistrate Dorothy Wamala.
Six killed

SIX people were killed in the city last week, Kampala Extra Police chief Grace turyagumanawe said on Monday.
Clarification
IN our story on April 4 on Page Six, we erroneously quoted the Police community affairs commissioner, Asan Kasingye, as having expressed concern about the transfers in the Force.
The truth is that he actually defended the transfers, saying they were normal and meant to improve the Force. This was in response to comments by Hope After Rape chairperson Dr. Pauline Tsekoko, who said the transfers frustrated their work.
We regret any inconvenience caused by the error.
