IN CHARITABLE CONCERT

Christ The King Church choir in Kampala will hold an Easter Concert this Sunday at the church starting at 3:000pm. The day’s retiring collection and any other contributions from the audience will be donated to Nsambya Babies Home. Choir chairperson Agnes Ssenkubuge said the choristers decided to donate to the home in order to put into action the archdiocesan theme, which encourages Christians to be charitable mindful of the needs of others, just like the Biblical good Samaritan.

KAMPALA TO GO BANANAS
WITH DUTCH BAND

At the end of this month, Kampala city will be treated to a unique brand of pop music when a Dutch band, Let’s Go Bananas, visits. The Royal Dutch Embassy will sponsor the band’s visit. The band will hold concerts at Club Obbligato, Sabrina’s Pub and have jam sessions with Ugandan musicians. Let’s Go Bananas has rocked audiences for 10 years. They have performed in Europe, Brunei, Jordan, Oman and Nigeria.


CONCERT AT LUBIRI TO MARK KABAKA’S BIRTHDAY
The entertainment commission of the youth ministry of Buganda Kingdom has organised a concert at Lubiri Palace this Sunday as one of the activities to celebrate Kabaka Ronald Mutebi’s 51st birthday. Artistes to perform at the concert include Mesach Semakula, Ragga Dee, Jose Chameleone, Juliana, Bobi Wine and Bebe Cool.

KAMPALA SINGERS WOW FANS AT EASTER CONCERT
KAMPALA Singers projected their musical power during an Easter concert at St. Paul’s Cathedral Namirembe last Sunday. The audience was mesmerised by the well connected sounds of cellos, clarinet, flutes, trumpet, violins, organ and kettledrums, which boosted the well-projected voices of the choristers conducted by their director Fred Musoke Kiggundu.

GOSPEL GROUPS AT
BUNNAMWAYA CHURCH

GOSPEL groups affiliated to the Catholic Charismatic Renewal Movement will perform at Bunnamwaya Catholic Church on Sunday. The Gospel Show will close the week-long retreat, that is currently taking place at the Church.
