THE Government should reduce taxes on new mobile phones in order to reduce dumping, the proprietor of Simba Telecom, Patrick Bitature, has said.

Bitature said dumping can be dealt with by scrapping taxes on new mobile phones and transferring the taxes to airtime.

He said this while presenting an award he received at the annual Nokia conference in Morocco, recently.

Simba Telecom got the best dealer’s prize.
Bitature said they sell new phones.
