Starting this Saturday, Kasanga Miracle Church will be presenting double-backed Easter shows dubbed the battle of the souls and who has got the keys?

The battle of soul will be presented on Saturday April 16 starting at 6:00pm, while Who Has Got the Keys will be presented on Easter Sunday.

The two shows are organised by the youth of the hour, an arm of the kasanga miracle church youth ministry.

Battle of the souls is basically about moral degeneration. According to Charles Kasibante, the youth minister and play director, the theme is in accordance with the Easter season as Christians celebrate the death of Jesus.
“It is a play that traces the root of sin and educates the public about real-life experiences and impact of the decisions we make,” he said.

Kasibante says though sin began in the days of creation, people have not yet understood the challenges they encounter in daily life because of wrong decisions.

The cast in both plays are accomplished actors like Paul Kirimuntu of the Babayita acting group and Edgar Mukulu, an actor in gospel plays. In one scene, the devil is persuading Eve to eat the forbidden fruit and Jesus shades his blood to redeem sinners.

Kasibante also says the show will give the public an opportunity to choose which side to turn to for deliverance.

Mass choir, Sacrifice Divine dancing group, Ticktah, Beth Sesanga and Martin Sekku are some of the entertainers expected to spice up the shows. The show will be crowned with Holy Communion and preaching by senior Pastor Isaac Kiwewesi.
