FEDERATION of Uganda Football Association president Lawrence Mulindwa has donated a trophy to Lango clans to be competed for. The president has also contributed sh1m to facilitate the soccer tournament. The coordinator, Rev Otto Olima said the president has scheduled to visit Lira to bring the trophy and launch the tournament officially on April 27.

Bloodshed and hurling of stones and insults marred the Soroti Coca-Cola post primary schools semi finals after Alliance High School silenced Soroti SS 5-4 in a penalty shoot-out after a gruelling goalless draw at Soroti Municipal Stadium. 15 students of Alliance were injured after Soroti students pelted them.
