THE new Nakaseke chairperson has petitioned the Inspector General of Government (IGG) to halt the recruitment process in the district until a substantive District Service Commission (DSC) is established.
Ignatius Koomu Kiwanuka has also asked the IGG to order that the advertisement that ran in the Uganda Gazette be reversed and a new one placed in accessible media, like newspapers.
He said circulation of the Uganda Gazette is limited to Kampala.
Kiwanuka also asked the IGG to stop the Luweero DSC from interviewing applicants for jobs in the new district.
“Nakaseke district will soon get its substantive DSC which will do the same job at relatively a lower cost,” he said in the April 21 letter to the IGG.
