Do it yourself

What you will need

- A horse-shoe magnet
- Plain white paper
- String, Scissors and pins
- A Stick, blue manila paper
- Coloured pencils, crayons and paints

Draw a large oval or circle on the blue manila paper and cut it out. This will be your fish pond. You may colour it dark blue and add a few waves in it. Draw different types of small fish to put into your pond. Colour them and cut them out. See fig 1.
Carefully put a pin though the head or tail of each fish. See fig 2a. Put the fish in their pond.
Tie the magnet to the end of the stick with the piece of string, to make your fishing rod. See fig. 2b
Now it is time to fish! You can catch the fish by moving your fishing rod over the fish in the pond. The magnet will attract the pins in your fish and you will get your catch very easily! See fig. 3
Have fun!!
