Silk thanks party

If all entrepreneurs were like Club Silk’s managers then our artistes would go a long way in ‘upping their game’ and getting more mileage for it. Makes sense doesn’t it? Last week saw the club throwing a party for the artistes who participated in the Street Bash.

If all entrepreneurs were like Club Silk’s managers then our artistes would go a long way in ‘upping their game’ and getting more mileage for it. Makes sense doesn’t it? Last week saw the club throwing a party for the artistes who participated in the Street Bash. It was all about fun, what with the artistes checking themselves out on screen and debating amongst themselves how they faired on stage.
In front of her daughter, Rachael Kiwanuka, the mum in Halima Namakula felt shy seeing herself on stage being asked by Bebe Cool to shake her bums on the duet Sambagala. Kiwanuka smiled at the spectacle. Bobi Wine endured the ‘painful sight’ of Chameleone’s performance what with a scene of the bash depicting crowds lifting and carrying the lanky figure aloft. Scenes of the rivals telling fans about who was better than the other as in President and Majesty were edited out.
It’s nice seeing an artiste appreciating a counterpart’s song. After very cozy moments, Wine and Juliana were later seen dancing to a Bebe Cool song. Blu*3’s Jackie confessed to The New Vision that she was so much into Sweet Kid’s music. She sang along to most of Kid’s songs in delight but ruled out a collabo citing Steve Jean’s permission! Thanks to the Lounge’s comfy couches, most artistes snuggled up close with their partners.
Elvis Sekyanzi thanked sponsors, Smirnoff Ice, and wished that artistes put up a better performance next year. He promised each artiste a copy of the bash’s video footage.
