<b>Medics course</b><br>DOCTOR Constantine Roux, a member of the International Olympic Committee medical commission is in Kampala for a three-day course in sports medicine for Ugandan doctors and sportsmen.

DOCTOR Constantine Roux, a member of the International Olympic Committee medical commission is in Kampala for a three-day course in sports medicine for Ugandan doctors and sportsmen. Twenty-five participants will attend the course commencing today at Grand Imperial Hotel according to Uganda Olympic Committee treasurer, Salim Musoke.

Heroes host
AFTER collecting a point in an away tie against Kinyara FC in Masindi, mid table Mbale Heroes host Masaka LC FC at Mbale Municipal stadium on Tuesday for what is expected to be a thrilling super league soccer match. Coach Matia Lule says Heroes who beat Masaka 1-0 in the first round will take advantage of the home ground to collect maximum points come Tuesday.

Okello spurs

Tom Okello scored twice as Boroboro Church pipped Bethel 3-2 in the final of the Christians Sports Contract at Uganda Technical College on Friday. The annual event drew ten teams from different churches in Lira. A Lira team will have to be selected from the participants to represent the district in another tournament in Tanzania.

Ntege shines
UGANDA’S sole representative in the Africa Wrestling Championship in South Africa, Joseph Ntege narrowly missed bronze when he finished fifth in the 84kg category. Ntege won a scholarship in South Africa and automatic qualification to the Commonwealth Wrestling Championships due July 10-15 in Scotland.
