POLICE in Tanzania have arrested a receptionist at Hotel Lemira where National Insurance Corporation (NIC) netball team players are staying after four rooms were broken into and personal effects lost.
NIC are in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania defending the Nje Netball Cup.
NIC’s celebrations of the huge 64-7 victory over Muungano were cut short when some players found their room doors wide open and their baggage scattered all over.
The team moved a step closer to the quarter-finals of the tournament when they beat Mafunzo 31-15 at the Railway Gerezani Sports Club yesterday.
