UGANDA held Libya 2-2 in their final game as they finished 112th out of 150 teams as the International Chess Federation (FIDE) Olympiad ended Sunday.

The Kawuma brothers led the fight for a draw against the less experienced Libyans, who finished in 111th position.
The former national champion Stephen Kawuma outwitted FIDE master Ibrahim Chahrani on board 1, reports from Turin, Italy indicate.
Then Moses Kawuma beat Emad Madi on board 4 to seal the draw after Isaac Munanira and Shadrack Kantinti lost their games.
The result in the final round of chess’ biggest show, pushed Uganda, ranked 117, to final tally of 23 points. Libya, rated lower at 128, also finished with 23 points.
Uganda concluded their campaign with four wins, four draws and five defeats in the bi-annual event that started last month.
The next event in 2008 will be held in Germany who finished in 15th position with 31 points.
At the same time, Armenia, ranked 3, were crowned new heroes at 36 points after a run of ten wins and three draws.
The number 12 team, China, came second at 34, USA ranked 7 and Israel ranked 6 earned 33 points each.
Hungary rated 16 collected 32.5 points while top ranked Russia finished at 32. India, the number two team, left crestfallen after taking 30th position at 29.5 points.
