NORTH West Medical Teams, an American NGO, has has donated equipment and drugs worth sh382m to Pader, Lira and Apac districts, reports James Oloch.

Programme manager Felix Omodi said North West Medical Teams is an emergency humanitarian organisation providing medical services to war-torn areas.

Omodi on Tuesday handed over two containers of medical equipment to Lira acting chief administration officer George Adoko to boost health units in the three districts.

North West Medical Teams also made separate supplies of the assorted drugs to Lira Referral Hospital, Apac Hospital, Pader Hospital and Lira Pentecostal Assemblies Of God health units.

The offices of the district directors of health services of the three districts received the donations.
