GHANAIAN Fred Osan Drudu, a CAF coach instructor, is to conduct a Grade B coaches’ course in Kampala July 17-21.
A letter from CAF football development division to FUFA forwarded the instructor’s name for the course, principally targeting Super League club coaches.

Rugby

Women 7s CHRISTINE Kizito will be up for a test – to lead Uganda to victory in the inaugural Africa women’s 7s at Kyadondo ground today. The skipper will prove her ability against Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi, Zimbabwe, Zambia and South Africa.

Golf

IT is a battle of women golfers today as they face off in the Lady President’s Shield at the par-72 Kitante course. The women are in the main event while men will play in the subsidiary category.
The 18-hole event is in honour of Uganda Ladies Golf Union (ULGU) president Rhoda Tumusiime, whose term of office elapsed yesterday.

GIANT screens showing live the on going FIFA world cup matches are expected to spice this year’s Corporate Olympic Games whose first round matches will be at Namboole on Sunday.
The event has already attracted 37 corporate League members. The daylong biannual competitions will feature athletics, sack and bottle races, new inclusion cycling, as well as fun games.
