Vision scoops award

THE New Vision Printing and Publishing Company Ltd (NVPPCL) has scooped two awards for best designed and printed local calendar.

THE New Vision Printing and Publishing Company Ltd (NVPPCL) has scooped two awards for best designed and printed local calendar.
The publishing giants received first category award for the Best Locally Designed Calendar 2006, beating 34 other competitors.
This was during the 5th annual competition organised by Transpaper Uganda Ltd, a subsidiary of Kensta Group of Companies, a Kenyan-based regional paper giant.
NVPPCL has scooped similar awards in the previous competitions.
Rachel Namuli, the NVPPCL production manager, received the awards from the trade state minister Serapio Rukundo in Kampala recently.
Grand Imperial Hotel in Kampala June 14, said the printing industry should make comprehensive research on the use of local materials and strategize for global market competitions so that profits and best goods and services are attained.
