When Rev. Fr. Anthony Musaala stormed the Gospel music scene last year, some people thought he was simply giving music a try.

The 50-year-old Catholic priest soon silenced his critics when he won a PAM Award in the Gospel music category. Now Musaala has released another album, Endongo Ya Yezu.

This album is intended to boost Musaala’s mission of fostering ‘reach-out evangelism’, which is why its tracks are spiced with heavy dancehall beats, appealing even to people outside the Church.

The songs are sung in several languages. The title-track, Endongo Ya Yezu, is a medley of several choruses, which are common in many Churches.

The song, enriched with Afro beats, praises Jesus’ loving care. The album will be launched at Sharing Youth Centre, Nsambya on Sunday, starting 2:00pm.
