CASTROL led from day one and were due to be crowned new winners of the Tusker Sheraton Fuelex corporate squash tournament Friday evening.

The team captained by Stephen Musisi won with a haul of 100 points, five more than uganda telecom, who finished second at the Sheraton hotel.

Tusker finished third overall while last year’s heroes Cairo bank were further below after a low-key display.

The winning captain Musisi attributed their success to team work and good preparations.
“My players were focused and worked hard for the victory,” Musisi said.

“I would like to salute players like Paul Nkambwe and Edith Wamalwa (above) who had a big impact on the team.”

On the last day of action on Thursday, Castrol team stepped up a gear with Julius Musiimenta beating Innocent Taremwa of Fuelex 3-0 (9-4 9-7 9-5).

Other winners of the day included Sam Kyagulanyi of Sheraton, who beat Tusker’s Musa Matovu 3-0 (9-0 9-0 9-4).

The annual competition that started last Wednesday was sponsored by Sheraton and Fuelex with the other participating corporate entities as co-sponsors.
