AUGUSTINE Nsumba notched a brace while Alex Nduga and substitute Robert Ssentongo added a goal each as Villa knocked out Nansana 4-0 to storm the Kakungulu Cup last 16 yesterday.
Nsumba was the star of the day, scoring in the 17th and 34th minute.

The result follows the Jogoos’ successful visit to Wankulukuku where they beat Express 1-0 in the league.

In the league, KCC captain Geoffrey Sserunkuuma kept his side’s Super Division campaign alive with the only goal of the game, his 11th this season.

The result put KCC second on the table but eight points behind Police, who play Super Cubs today.

Police FC’s steady progress towards a second league title is being led by goal-hungry Dan Walusimbi who has scored in each of the four last games. At 11 goals, he is two behind leading scorer Geoffrey Wakaza.
