KAWEMPE Division will get a sh170m office after Prime Contractors, the best evaluated bidder, offered that amount.
Work will be done in phases, sources in the Procurement and Disposal Unit of Kampala City Council (KCC) said.
The sources said the selection notice was signed by Robinah Kayongo, the council’s procurement officer.
“They did the selection towards the end of last month and are expected to do the work competently. They are already doing other KCC work like pothole clearing,†the sources said.
