Gayi enjoyed good form in partnership with Moses Sebidde, Denis Amukun and team captain Joseph Apuuli as Nkumba beat KAVC and KCC in straight sets.
Sport-S coach Nason Bwesigye was forced to don the team jersey for the first time in a competitive match to make up for players who arrived late as Sport-S hit Nkumba team into submission.
“I confess Sport-S is superior. They have beaten us on the trot but we have to work to break their block format,†said Nkumba coach Anthony Ndaula.
In the women category KAVC continued their supremacy when they beat long time rivals KCC 3-1 to stay on top of the table.
