VENUS House from Horizon campus, has won the 2006 St. lawrence schools and colleges Music Dance and Drama inter-house festival.

VENUS House from Horizon campus, has won the 2006 St. lawrence schools and colleges Music Dance and Drama inter-house festival.
The festival held at Paris-Palais College in Mpigi, attracted Kabaka’s Lake Campus, Horizon Campus, London College, Cream Land Campus and Paris-Palais College, schools under the same management.
Venus House got a bull while runners-up Silver house from Kabaka’s Lake got a cow.
The best actors received bursaries for their 2006 tuition.
While handing over the prizes to the winners, the director of St Lawrence schools, Lawrence Mukiibi told parents that the schools emphasise discipline, academic excellence and co-curricular activities. “If you want successful children, sports, music, dance and drama should not be ignored,†Mukiibi said.
The chief guest, the Archbishop of the Church of Uganda Henry Orombi, commended the schools’ administration for the good academic performance.
