STUDENTS in Manjiya county who score aggregate eight or better in their Primary Leaving Examinations this year will get scholarships for secondary school education.

This was announced at the second anniversary celebrations for Arlington Academy of Hope (AAH) in Bumwalukani, Mbale district.

John Wanda, the school’s founder and president of the AAH in the US said the scholarships will cover tuition and other school costs. He said the students must have attended a primary school in the county for the full year to benefit from the scholarship.

The ceremony presided over by the Minister for the Presidency, Beatrice Wabudeya, was also attended by Mbale former Woman MP, Olive Wonekha and district officials.
