A POLICE detective yesterday told court that Dr. Aggrey Kiyingi was in constant communication with his co-accused Charles Berwanaho prior to and after his wife’s murder.

Berwanaho was Kiyingi’s accountant at Dehezi International.

Fred Simon Sakwa also said on July 3, 2005, Kiyingi also communicated with berwanaho and Aida Nakubulwa, who also worked at Dehezi.

Sakwa, prosecution’s 23rd witness, also said there was communication between Berwanaho and the late John Atwine, who is a step brother of Berwanaho.

He, however, said they failed to get printouts for numbers matching with Kiyingi’s neighbour Bomboka to verify claims that Kiyingi called him shortly after the murder.

Bomboka told court that Kiyingi called him shortly after the murder, asking him about what was happening at home.

Kiyingi, Berwanaho and Bob Mugisha are on trial over the murder of city advocate Robinah Kiyingi.
