THE Leader of the Seventh day Adventist (SDA) Church, Dr. Jan Paulsen, yesterday arrived for a two-day visit.

Paulsen, who arrived at Entebbe airport at 2:20pm aboard Kenya airways, was welcomed by SDA Archbishop in Uganda Dr. John Wani, the central Uganda field pastor James Kaggya and the Entebbe Municipality mayor, Steven Kabuye.

Paulsen, who was in the country in May last year, is here to meet SDA youth from Uganda and neighbouring countries under a programme “let’s talk’.

The President East and Central African division, Pastor Geoffrey Mbwana, accompanied him. In the programme, youth interact with Paulsen, ask questions and express their views to be considered by church leaders.

Paulsen said the SDA church had a population of over 25 million worldwide with two-thirds below 30 years, who needed to be listened to.

Asked to comment on prostitution Paulsen said, “God did not legalise prostitution. The bible talks of a man and woman. Not a man and women. Sexual activity should only be for the married people.”
