Capital FM's Bills joins Music business
The allure of the lucrative music industry was too much for Capital FM’s programmes director Bills, he had to plunge in head first. Bills, we hear, has opened a recording studio on Entebbe Road called Ikon Studio and Records. After a dyed-in-the-wool head-hunting spree for quality staff, he has wound up with Washington, a sought-after producer formerly
with Dream Studios in Kamwokya.
Z’obbo, Akii-Bua for Kiss FM
Though she denied earlier media speculation that she is set to quit Radio One, it is now common knowledge that Radio One’s Brenda Zobbo, currently on leave, will be leaving for Nairobi’s Classic FM. What is new is that Patrick Quarcoo, the manager of the Nairobi-based station, is hunting for another Ugandan presenter. Rumour has it that Denise Akii-Bua, who left KFM in July, is his next prize.

What is Ben Mwine up to?
Meanwhile Ben Mwine is proving quite the perennial radio gypsy. He started out at Power FM moved to (then) Monitor FM, returned to Power FM, left for Sanyu FM. Now he wants to return to Power.
